Last week I embarked on the 5000/365 challenge. It involves climbing Jacob’s Ladder 5000 times and publishing 365 blog posts during 2011. I’ve made good progress.
Blog posts
I wrote five posts during the week. They are:
- My 5 favourite YouTube videos. Some funny, some a bit serious but all pretty amazing.
- Gerry, it’s time to start listening, in which I share my views on Gerry Harvey’s stand about shopping online.
- Five ordinary people who inspire me. Actually, that should read everyday. There’s nothing ordinary about these people
- I explained how writing regular blog posts need not be a chore in Blog Writing Made Easy.
- In My 2011 Challenges I set out how the 5000/365 challenge will work and what they’re all about.
That puts me 2 posts behind, missing on Saturday and Sunday. That’s what I’m working on today.
Jacob’s Ladder
My target for the week was 100 laps. I cracked out 122. The table below shows progress made to date. I’ve only just started using a stopwatch to record the lap times. It’s proving helpful to measure my efforts. Any lap in the low 3:10’s starts to put some pressure on over the following laps.
