Pew Internet reports as of July 2006 there were 12 million American adults writing blogs and 37 percent of Internet users (about 57 million American adults) read blogs. The survey polled 7 012 adults, “which included 4 753 Internet users, 8% of whom are bloggers”.
37% of bloggers write about “my life and experiences”, 11% issues about public life.
