I have just completed a site for Coral Bay Beach Resort [Edit: since posting this the developers decided they wanted something “better” and produced what you see when clicking on this link. It’s in stark contrast to the screen shots on this page.] on behalf of PRDnationwide Project Marketing in Claremont. The brief was to provide a site that had plenty of visual impact with lots of stunning imagery. All images were supplied by PRDnationwide and Trilogy.
I settled on the Awesome WordPress theme, which gave me an appealing slider option and plenty of customisation options.
One thing about Coral Bay is there are lots of great images available. I used a combination of wildlife and lifestyle shots along with the artists renders of the Coral Bay Beach Resort.
I was able to turn the project around in about 3 days. I experienced a few problems with the themes <p> tags but a Skype call with the theme developer sorted that out.
It’s now up to the client to build out more content on the site with a regular blog.
