Reflections of an agonistic blogger

What do Foucault's concepts of power and subjectivity reveal about the power relations found in and around Heather Armstrong's blog, dooce?

About this ordinary mind

I'm currently in my honours year of a Bachelor of Arts (Media, Society, and Culture) at Curtin University in Western Australia and I'm enjoying researching the sociological and cultural aspects of the Internet. During 2008 I will write a thesis that aims to uncover the sources of tensions between employers and employees who maintain personal blogs.

When I'm not researching and writing I ride a bike, climb stairs, meditate, or drink cheap red wine.

This blog is my research journal and an organic CV. Please post a comment and let me know your thoughts.
